If there were ever a perfect ride, today was it for me. Friend Dewey
Chiles led me through spectacular canyons, beautiful passes nearly 9,000'
high, to Red Rocks
amphitheater. We saw rivers small towns and had amazing views.
Dewey and his wife Donna even provided a weary traveler a place to stay for
the night. Thanks to them both!
Tomorrow it's a haul over 12,000'
Trail Ridge Road that leads to the homeward side of the mountains.
