Where's Bill?
August 27, 2010

Starting point:
Jackson, WY
Ending point:
Sandy, UT
Weather:
A bit of drizzle at the start then sunny--Rain threatening late afternoon
Miles today:
298
Route:
US-89, I-15

Trip Notes:
Not enough wet to put on the rain gear, and it didn't last long.  Winding down US-89 through small towns and cities like Logan, UT, and Salt Lake City.

Stopped at a quaint place for breakfast, the Yankee Doodle Cafe.  If it's red, white and blue, it's on the shelves, or tacked to the wall, or hanging from the overhead beams.  Signs, flags, model cars, airplanes--well, you name it.  I sensed a bit of American spirit (to say the least).

Tried to stay on 89, but it turned into an urban street with too many traffic lights.  Moved to the Interstate and coasted into Sandy, checked into a motel, ate dinner and then the rains hit.  Poured all night while I was tucked away under the covers warm and dry.
